"Vanitas, starting off in the Void came to the contemplation of Form; and from Form engendered Passion; and by communicating Passion, entered again into Form; and from Form awoke to the Void."

 

Johanna's work is inspired by the conception and visualization of contemporary human spaces: geometry modified by sensory experience, interdependence of objects and space. The re-imagined city in her work shows the human drama manifested through the things and the space.
